The owners are the sweetest people and are wonderful! They also own Cat's Coven which is an amazing non profit cat rescue! I will definitely be going again and keeping up to date with them! ”

“ This is one of the most unusual and awesome stores I’ve ever seen. There is so much to look at, and the experience is totally unique. Make your own bouquet of fresh flowers, get some locally-made, all-natural body care and soaps, and have a delicious cup of tea and a scone (I tried every one on the menu — they are all amazing). I spoke with the owners, and you can tell what a passion they have for this business. There are also some fun and creative seating options inside and out. I definitely recommend a visit here! ”

“ The flowers were very nice, but the card was addressed to Hugo from Trenton (to my dad from my husband). These were supposed to be from my dad to my mom, and just say "from Hugo" and "Te Amo" on the inside card.... Placed my order using the website and there was a hiccup in getting them delivered. Its a good thing my dad was sending them as "just because" flowers and not for a specific date. We paid for same day delivered but it was not clarified that orders needed to be place before 10AM. We ordered them around 1PM. That information wasn't listed upfront, and I only found out after I called. The lady over the phone was kind and informed me that the order needed to be placed before noon and that it was written on the website under "delivery FAQs". It was written but you had to scroll all the way down. And I didn't think I had questions when placing the order so I didn't click on the FAQs.. oh well haha. The flowers ended up getting delivered a day later than we had hoped. The thing that we are most confused about is why the flowers were addressed as being sent from my husband to my dad..... the order was supposed to be from my dad to my mom, but we didn't list her name just my dads. It would have been obvious it was from him. Or so we thought! My husband has sent me flowers from this same shop so I think they just pulled his name based on the address. We had a laugh. My mom genuinely thought my husband sent my dad flowers as a joke (my husband is silly and would totally do something like that, but thats a story for another time lol) But I just wish the website was easier to use. With clear instructions on the delivery fees and time frames when you go to pay and not as a separate section. Also the section that deals with addressing your order. It only had a spot to put who was sending the flowers and the message you wanted written on the card. Maybe I am just dense, maybe I didn't drink enough coffee that day ”

“ We had a wonderful mother/daughters full tea experience. We especially enjoyed the pimento on brioche and cranberry/almond chicken salad. The lemon blueberry scones are amazing. The staff are all-stars. They are so friendly and attentive. They took the time to help us choose our teas based on flavors we enjoy. They have a beautiful selection of flowers also. I would definitely visit HH Apothecary & Co on your next visit to downtown Madison. ”

“ My sister had her baby sprinkle here. We had the afternoon tea service, and it was MAGICAL! Not only are the aesthetics just absolutely STUNNING, the vibe from the staff and the atmosphere they provide is just incredible! You must try a triple chocolate scone, to die for! The tea selection and their knowledge of it was so helpful! I could go on for days, but if you’re ever in Madison please make this place one of your stops, you will not regret it !!! ”

“ Great shop. Offers such a variety. Walking in I was expecting a flower shop. I was tickled to find loose leaf teas and other herbs and spices. There are prepackaged tea ounces or the employee told me she could make packages for me of what I wanted. You can do a cup of tea if you'd like. They also have gift items. ”

“ Afternoon tea is something my mom and I have had together at *least* twice a year now for probably at least a decade, across many cities and for any number of occasions (and sometimes ‘just because’) so when I say that tea at HH Apothecary was absolutely exceptional, it’s with a good bit of context! We drove about an hour and it was more than worth it. Every bite was absolutely lovely (it’s really hard to pick just a few things to mention and not rave about it all, but shout-out to the fresh-baked brioche with egg salad, and adding apple to cucumber sandwiches? Brilliant) and the teas clearly blended with care. Beautiful shop, friendly and knowledgeable owners (thank you, Jay, for answering our questions about Yerba mate!) and just a great experience all around. Already looking forward to my next visit! ”
